Useful model: when reading an opinion piece / listening to a podcast, ask yourself how the expressed opinion is self-soothing for the person. Folks cannot express opinions that make them uncomfortable. They will follow up with a hedge if so. Gives you a new way to read them.

There's a new theory actually. That spotify will play you songs you've already heard, so it can save bandwidth from having you download something new. Saves them money.
@JackRhysider "It seems to always play me things it saw me like in the past." I suspect strongly that this is not just an algo problem, but to do with licensing/royalties. At least in the case of YouTube, I'm not sure about Spotify (never used it).

i need to starting invoicing altium for these bug fixes... dblibs have decayed since ad17. performance, etc has gotten worse. even kicad has a superior metadata integration with its httplib for your consideration , I present odbc-monkey this is a odbc driver for altium dblibs

Treat AI-generated code as a draft. It can write the first version, but never outsource the reading. No human review means no reliable trace from behavior back to intent. When you stop reviewing AI drafts, you stop knowing why the code works at all.

If you or a friend is thinking about getting into electronics, I URGE you to specifically AVOID Arduino and discourage anyone from using it moving ahead. I've not seen anything this pathological in the hobbyist space that I can recall. There's a lot of alternatives.

“Talk to your kid” is an underrated parenting technique. My little guy kept waking up according to whenever the first car would drive by in our neighborhood: 6:20am, 5:50am. I told him he was waking up too early and asked him to stop. Next morning (and since) he pulled 7:05.

@cnxsoft I'll take qcom in maker market seriously when they open up el2 for their own SBCs. They've done it previously for their CRD platforms but nothing else officially. I don't know the situation with the current slew of qcom devboards, but I'm assuming it's similarly locked down.
