Today President Aracich and members of the Building Trades stood with elected officials in support of the buildout of a state of the art rail terminal in Brookhaven. In addition to the union construction jobs, it is just the right thing to do for waste transport on Long Island.

This morning, President Aracich had the privilege of giving the keynote address at this year’s @HempsteadTown IDA’s Economic Update Breakfast. He emphasized the collaboration that is needed between Labor, IDA, developer, and municipality in order to build here on Long Island.

Today, 2 years of hard work began with the Building Trades and the County securing an additional 1,000 slot machines. The Building Trades worked tirelessly to make the expansion of Jake’s 58 a reality & President Aracich proudly broke ground on the $210M project covered by a PLA!

Today President Aracich was proud to participate in the Green Energy panel at the 2024 UBS Sustainability Forum at @UBSArena. He spoke about the importance of union workforce development throughout various green energy industries.

A tremendous congratulations and thank you to @GovHochul for completing the NYS budget and securing $456 million for the full renovation of the Belmont Grandstand and Racetrack! This major project will employ thousands of our local skilled building tradeswomen and tradesmen.

We would like to commend @GovKathyHochul for proposing an historic investment of $455 million to modernize Belmont Race Track. That sizable investment represents thousands of skilled tradeswomen and tradesmen earning a living for years to come.
