I keep seeing this. Makes no sense. 1. Frank Capra produced pro america propaganda films during WWII 2. in choosing between trusting hollywood or government i’ll choose hollywood. that’s not me liking hollywood, it’s just saying government overreach is real and worse.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” was considered deliberate communist subversion by the FBI in 1947 (the villain is a rich landlord, and the writers had close ties to known communists), but our culture’s changed so much that it now plays as right-wing because it’s pro-family.

Splurged on grocery delivery. Looking forward to a “power stir fry” tonight-ground beef w tons of riced zucchini + 3 bags of spinach cooked down & served over rice for the kids & stuffed into a low carb pita for me. Craving some healthy food!

Penelope (almost 3 weeks now) was exhausted from christmas, she neeeeeded to get up and would not settle until we sat by the christmas tree and looked at the lights around 3 am. I love those quiet moments with just her.

Almighty, Holy…yet put his image on tiny babies…prefers the prayer said in quiet…rewards the smallest act like giving a little one a glass of water…it truly is amazing.
Have you all pondered on the fact that we will be allowed in the presence of The almighty God? We are not worthy of the very dirt we tread on, yet, He made a way for us to approach His throne! I can’t wrap my brain around it

I read Ivanka Trump’s first book when I was in high school & have always thought she was incredibly smart. Her 2025 reading list is so good! I also started reading Edith Eger this year and love that she includes Will & Ariel Durant and poetry.
