Being included in game night, especially Trivial Pursuit was pretty monumental growing up. I got a sense of how smart I was but also how little I actually knew, but also somewhat eye opening relative to the "adults in the room".
There’s an aesthetic of kids growing up integrated into their parents’ intellectual scene that appeals to me a lot. Like small children playing around dinner parties with their parents’ friends, learning about their parents’ jobs, hearing adult ideas.

Watch early SNL clips when they do little skits and stuff, it's wonderful. There's a skit with a school teacher that talks in the NYC accent it's oddly heartwarming. An era of America all but gone
