@timdavis640 @A_Tass1 @nick_coatsworth New Zealand does 6 months for the COCP, 3 months for normal medications and 1 month for controlled drugs. Australia is living in the past with its model of monthly dispensing for every prescription – and it's purely in place to protect the profits of the pharmacy oligopoly.

Rural general practice is dire. Workforce increase incentives, bring back PGPPP to get young Drs to experience rural GP. Funding support & reduce tape for Drs wanting to work in Aust. Triple BB incentive and tiered for rural for vulnerable pts. @RACGP #GP@Parliament
