Someone I know was recently passed over for a design position because they were too young.
The company reached out to them because of their killer work, and then turned around and rejected them because their process couldn’t support an entry-level designer. What a loss…
today is our last day living and working in our home state of Oklahoma. we will miss the ⛈, the people and the slow pace of things — until next time ✌️
If you want to truly improve your worth as a graphic, web or application designer — cover your basics first. Typographical mastery is crucial. We shouldn’t have to correct work on such a fundamental level.
I just want to say that while working from home during this pandemic has been extremely difficult with a 7, 5 and 1 year old. What is even harder is being a stay at home parent (my wife) and keeping up with a toddler while homeschooling two children.
Starting a new job remotely is full of interesting things.
