🔹The recepie is simple: 1. Take a compund that forms chiral domains when crystallizing🧬2. Make a thin film of it with chaotic domains of both handednesses⛓️3. Use laser in microscope to locally melt and control crystallization front propagation🔬4. Automatize the process!🦾.

Did you know that chiral organic films do not have to be of a single handedness?! We just developed a way to freely determine chirality using a laser in microscope set up leading to films with bi-chiral pixels 🔬🔬Read about it in the Advanced Materials
