Almost a decade ago I was the Harvard economist that said that bitcoin was more likely to be worth $100 than 100k. What did I miss? I was far too optimistic about the US coming to its senses about sensible cryptocurrency regulation; why would policymakers want to facilitate tax.

Insane. But (still) the reality.
Just spoke to a multi family office . Looking to allocate 5% to “crypto”. Told him, we would recommend Bitcoin only. Response was “yeah but am being paid to manage it and if I only put in Bitcoin, I will look bad”. Show me the incentives, and I will show you the problem… 🤦🏻♂️.

I think & talk about this daily. Very interesting.
Humans are taking a really long time to understand Bitcoin when compared to AI. This proves the urgency of the problem. AI is going to make humans economically extinct and we are too slow to adapt to own the one commodity the AIs can't produce more of: Bitcoin

Isn’t the core thesis - that we’re in an AI-driven digital revolution that is inherently deflationary and therefore incompatible with our current inflationary monetary system - enough for everyone to instantly grasp Bitcoin’s use case?.

Strategy just posted it's 8th highest closing price in company history, with 11x more Bitcoin than the next closest company, while announcing a NEW stablecoin-ish preferred equity instrument, and 8 days from releasing the largest Net Income earnings report in company history.
