Homeschooling and remote work means I get to have lunch with my kids every day. I can't imagine not having that.
homeschool is great. I was homeschooled in the 5th grade, and it completely changed my work ethic. I would wake up at 5am and get all my schoolwork finished by 9 so I could do whatever I wanted all day every day. I discovered the freedom of just getting stuff done that year.

Typescript is fine. JavaScript is fine. But whichever way, if someone else is going to use your code it's probably best to have some form of contract.

Last night I was watching a conference talk called how to make accessible react components and the first piece of advice was to use aria roles like this <div role=button>click</div> 😭 Please don’t do this.

Deeply saddened by this news, Molly was a real groundbreaker. Someone who saw opportunities for friendship where others only saw rivalry.

@straczynski (Although for a minute there I was afraid it was going to be about reuniting Sheridan with his blue socks)

Just saw The Road Home and loved it, laughed out loud and I don't mind admitting I shed a few tears. If you're new to Babylon 5, there's plenty for you, but it satisfied me as a long time fan as well. Great job to everyone, and as always awesome writing from @straczynski
An epic past, an exciting future - brush up on BABYLON 5 in 90 seconds before watching #B5AnimatedMovie tomorrow!

Update on this: I just used WebStorm and it missed some things. Use TypeScript where you can people, it's a jungle out here.

I'm finding VSCode's support for JSDoc sadly lacking. Loads of errors reported by a colleague who's using WebStorm, and I cannot find a way to configure VSCode to show them up.

❓Is javascript-native JSDoc better than TypeScript? I've been using it for a few months, and here's what I've found. https://t.co/6Cr7oH2LF0

Whilst I'm at it, @Netlify is there any way to update this blog post? It's got great info but is a little out of date and a bit confusing when it goes off on a slight tangeant towards the end.

Ha. I just spent all my spare time over the past week or so configuring a plugin for @Netlify to skip builds on my @NxDevTools monorepo, only to realise I can't use it because it doesn't know if the content on my CMS for that project has changed or not. 🤦♂️

As someone who likes both software and literature please can we stop naming software after literature, I’m getting so confused.

More does not equal more. I’ve seen this effect before where a company had 3 products but hundreds of pages explaining it in every detail. The complexity was drowning the product.
Over the last 9 months we’ve deleted close to 80% of the marketing footprint off https://t.co/eBb3igwTKa. Tens of thousands of pages. The result is that traffic, conversion and all our experience and NPS metrics are up. It was a gross project but I’ll tell you about it.
