It's an Asus EEE 900, one of the first netbooks. Intel Celeron-M ULV 353. And a 16GB SSD. That might be it's salvation. It compiled bitcoin in about 8 hours. Fingers crossed. I'll report back in a few months.

I ran bitcoin on a laptop older than bitcoin. I still have it, I should try it again.
@mvidallopez We remember conversations with @laanwj in which we compared Bitcoin to Doom; both could even be installed & run on a pregnancy test. There were also some old posts in which @curly60e , Mara & @mutatrum ran it on old laptops. Thanks to spammers it's practically impossible today.

Some forensics on the the PYUSD token mint today. Its worse than I thought. Looks like Paxos tried to transfer 300M PYUSD between wallets, but accidentally burned 300M instead. So in order to undo their mistake, they tried to remint the 300M they burned back into the original
