Dr Paul Dorfman (@dorfman_p) posts an article about Net Zero economy booming. I suggest we're paying over the odds for it & France with nuclear is cheaper plus they have a workable long term plan. He blocks me... I then discover he's Chair Nuclear Consulting Group. Bizarre!

@JonathanPieNews They did better than libdems (12.2%) and not that far behind the Tories at 23.7%. Over twice as many votes as the Greens

Prince William gives MAJOR Kate Middleton cancer update? I’ve read the article twice, and all I can find is: ‘She’s doing well.’ Have I missed it? https://t.co/DP3KyCragX

Spoiler alert but Fallout was created in mid 90s. Even back then, trust of global private companies was a concern.

@aldestrawk @Derek_a_Franks @CDCDirector Ohh and yes, we've had lies, damn lies and statistics like everywhere else. We have a big problem with non-COVID deaths in the healthy here. The UK ONS decided to try a new model that makes the figures look better. The people still died though!

@aldestrawk @Derek_a_Franks @CDCDirector ...or rather respiratory problems are no different than before so we just get on with it. Elderly people still sadly die of respiratory complications but we realised - it's not really any more deadly. Nobody has mentioned COVID in months even through winter.

Given the growth of both misinformation and disinformation, particularly over the last four years, I thought it would be helpful to refresh the definitions of some keywords and keyphrases used in the English language. I shall start with the ones that came to my mind first:

Watching Mr Bates vs the Post Office. Horrific. I know it's dramatised but those in charge at the time need calling to account. Almost manslaughter?

@ClareCraigPath @erbrooker Within the coronavirus family, there are major variants/strains - over a hundred of them. A handful affect humans - we now have one more. Because it's a novel (new) strain, we had very little immunity so that helped infectiousness.

@ClareCraigPath @erbrooker PS there are other virus families that cause colds, e.g. Rhinovirus. That particular virus family was the most common cause of colds until coronavirus became dominant recently. So dominant that the influenza virus (flu) appeared to disappear.

I have no real love for the Tories but can somebody have a quiet word with them or an intervention. I'm gobsmacked they've brought back Mr Brexit, hated by 49% of the population, to look after FOREIGN affairs. They seem on a course of self-destruction.
