My husband has joined the campaign for real ale and started to pontificate about hops whenever we go out for a drink. Watching him sniff his beer and awards it points rather than just swig a normal pint of cooking lager, like a real man, my vagina has never been this dry.

I have no idea whether this is the same drink of generation past. It is a lovely pint of bitter. If this was the standard of real ale, real ale would be more popular.
