Tomorrow ⬇️. DO. Make space for kids to discuss their emotions . Take opportunities to talk about democracy and our political systems . Be on the look out for an increase in hateful comments and/or behaviors!.

Teachers and leaders please remember that all the hatred we’re seeing in the media OUR STUDENTS ARE ALSO SEEING!. There’s certainly going to be an uptick in hate incidents at school and we need to be ready to address them head on!.

When schools decide to stay silent about racism and homophobia because they’re worried about upsetting parents which parents’ needs and opinions are you prioritizing and why? 🤔.
