'Brain fog' is not a medical or scientific term. It is a generic one, an euphemism often misused to imply psychosomatic causes for #COVID19 or #LongCovid. We don't tell it to patients with Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Cerebral atrophy and cognitive impairment are not brain fog.
2. As anyone who has experienced it knows, 'brain fog' (a term I'm not fond of, because we should really call it what it is: neurocognitive dysfunction), can be devastating to quality of life. Yet we now, as a society, seem to deem it as 'just one of those things'.
