Haven't had time to read fully, but was happy to see a table comparing postoperative group housing of mice did not increase liklihood of implant removal over single housing (in mice). Also has a nice lit review for group housing and fluid restricting mice.
An NC3Rs working group has published recommendations and guidance on best practice for high-yield rodent behavioural experiments, specifically around refining head fixation and fluid control in rodents.

I still am shocked every time I see how much the Great Salt Lake shrinks each year. An honest to goodness great lake is now just a set of interlinked puzzles. Now the seagulls will really have nowhere to go 🫠

😬...dopamine is NOT something you need to detox from. Please 🛑 villianizing (or glorifying) single neurotransmitters! Our 🧠s are *way* more interesting than that. Some of us need less dopamine and some of us (🙋) need more. It's all about B A L A N C E.
