How many children have you got?. It seems like a simple question and a simple answer right? No - not always. In the past I’ve sometimes said I only have one child when in fact I have two sons. As part of the @sandsuk and wider babyloss community it can be a difficult to answer.

Bloody love this!!! There are good people out there - especially in Bemmie.
🧵Little story- one of those which, if I hadn't seen it myself, but you told me about it, I wouldn't have believed you. In my local shop & one of the street's loud young characters comes in - proper Bemmie, always seems to have a can & be up to something. You can imagine. .

@BristolSands @SandsUK A lot of people aren’t sure what to say or how to start a conversation. If you want to start a conversation with me about Thomas then you can do it with a question as simple as ‘Would you like to tell me about Thomas?’.

@BristolSands @SandsUK Eduation and understanding around this taboo subject is vital. I take comfort from talking about Thomas who was born sleeping in January 2004. If you want, please start a conversation with me about Thomas.

Please unfollow me etc if needed - no explanation needed or offence taken. I don’t intend to offend or upset. For years I rarely spoke publicly in a proper way about my eldest son. Thanks to the support I’ve had from @BristolSands and @SandsUK I’m confident enough to do so.
