Rust seems happy with.let [x0, x1] = x;.(x0, x1).but very unhappy with.(x[0], x[1]).Is there some deep reason that the borrow checker knows about destructuring assignment but can't do useful analysis with indexes?.

Really I want something like.```.(x as Trait using impl Trait for Foo { . }).bar().```.but IDK enough rust or know what to search to find if this exists.

Is it possible to implement an explicit, inline trait impl in rust? I'd like to stuff an instance a few layers down an struct hierarchy without doing the newtype unwrap dance and hoping the compiler decides not to copy everything.

Either the most profound or the most obvious realisation of my computer science life: (value-)dependent typing is identical to exhaustive duck typing.
