Last week at the grocery store this elderly lady in front of me kept swiping her card and it kept getting declined. I motioned to the clerk that I’ll pay for it. The lady was overwhelmed and began to cry. I’ve been there not having enough to pay for groceries.

There was 10 of us growing up. My school lunch consisted of either PB&an sandwiches or bologna sandwiches, often with no butter or mayo - just plain bread and bologna. An apple or two from our apple trees, and the same for pears. Occasionally we found celery sticks or carrots

Yes there is! That's why I'm picky where I buy my groceries. Most of my veggies come from a local farmer's market and I grow a lot of my own as well. My meat comes from a local farm where all the beef is grass fed and total organic.
