This was the last date I had with my wife (Feb 2, 1918). It was amazing chestnut puree for the Midwest. We haven’t been inside a restaurant since. I miss dates, jazz bands & pugilism, but I don’t regret the sacrifices we continue to make to prevent the spread of the Spanish flu
