just woke up and saw the replies to this tweet so here’s what i meant by this tweet:
he’s a man, white, and an a list actor. he is an a position where he has a lot of privilege, and that’s why he can do this and not be affected. there are a lot of other white male a list actors.
bc pride month is coming up, i made some of these!! they’re free to use, and i’ll be making more!! just reply to this with your pride flag and name of sexuality/gender identity, and i’ll make it for day and night mode!!
rt this so that people can use these if they’d like!! 💗
so essentially what i meant (which i didn’t word eloquently at all because i didn’t think anyone outside my mutuals would see this tweet):
there are a lot of people in hollywood that wouldn’t be dropped or blacklisted, yet they don’t even say a word.
@Akpochimara1
i didn’t exactly word this tweet well bc i didn’t think anyone would see it really, but i said this bc he’s an EXTREMELY famous white man. celebrities of his status could. people with his level of privilege can say this.
@vmprui
i feel like you’re misconstruing what they mean by this tweet in the replies a lot; they aren’t saying not to rt, and they’re not saying that the palestinians have to post with a tw. what they’re saying is don’t just rt, qrt with a gore tw
@urrfavonce_
i didn’t really word the tweet well but yeah, that’s the reason he can do it. he’s in a position of A LOT of privilege. there are a lot of celebrities also in that same position of A LOT of privilege.
i hope all of the people being awful to fifty fifty know that they undid loona’s impact with their case. it felt like things were changing, that idols would be heard when they were abused. but now ceos are basically publicly telling their their they can’t stand up to them.
@folklorewoozi
@sicksadchris
oomf they’re gonna get you… there are very few targets that have groceries, those are only super targets. so i get what you’re saying but target is more like a department store and it is the first place that comes to mind for music, electronics, books etc all in one place
@vmprui
i’m sure they already have autoplay off by now, but it doesn’t get rid of the thumbnails. and restricting sensitive content restricts so many things that aren’t actually sensitive that it gets in the way of using this app. not every single video i’ve seen has gore either. but—
i will never be happy again if fifty fifty gets blacklisted like. i’ve been a fan since debut. i wanted so much success for them. they’re getting this success. then their company did them wrong. and now their company is painting them in a bad light. and everyone is falling for it
@bqrbatos
i feel like people are so uneducated about this like it took me learning about what being non-binary actually is to realize i am too,,, like people just need to learn from non-binary people about this rather than their tiktok for you page
@vmprui
i do understand what you’re saying, like it is very important to spread for the sake of making people uncomfortable. for me though, if a kid on this app asks for a trigger warning, i’m giving that to them no questions asked.
as a cuban girl, amy santiago is the only rep i know of with a cuban character played by a cuban actress, so it means a lot to me. also, rosa’s coming out story made me feel more comfortable with liking girls than i’d ever been in my life. i’m grateful for b99 💘

@acutiflora
this problem has to do with people writing tv as well. as a lesbian, i want to watch shows w f/f ships, but i only watch comedies/lighthearted shows so i haven’t found any f/f ship with a well fleshed out romance at all.
if you aren’t on fifty fifty’s side, you are contributing to the abuse in the ENTIRE kpop industry. especially when this case could make it or break it for everyone after the loona case, everyone decided to break it.
@MarcEvanJackson
you bringing things up until they’re done really gives me the impression that you are the glue that holds all television together currently
if everyone had just supported fifty fifty from the start the same way everyone support chuu and then the rest of loona, we wouldn’t be in this position. this case would be another moment where we show the kpop industry that we can’t let them hurt these young people.
they mentioned the peace they felt when they knew it was time to go a lot, and mike schur managed to give the viewers that peaceful, fulfilled feeling. that’s beautiful.

some of y’all bout to be real mad at me, but it must be said. hitchcock and scully (especially hitchcock) suck, like, they’re just the worst. like they’re not comparable to jerry on parks, they’re characters you’re supposed to hate.
but everyone decided they were going to be ignorant about fifty fifty. and now look where we are. ceos calling them backstabbers. definitely making their own artists feel like they can NEVER speak up.
just realized that because chidi felt perfectly complete and ready to leave when his mom kissed eleanor and her mom wiped the lipstick off... chidi felt complete and calm when eleanor received motherly love from both their moms...
