So honored to sit down with @NicoleShanahan for this discussion. Dreaming of a future in medicine where the patient is the focus, common sense and ethics are front and center, and bias is minimized was a nice break from the daily reality of the medical industrial complex.
“You’re not worthy of a hospital bed if you didn’t choose to get a needle in your arm” @molsjames. That was the cruel mantra pushed by the Medical Industrial Complex—one that weaponized fear and turned Americans against each other. It wasn’t public health. It was coercion.
