directed & edited a music video for this hot new french rock band. we shot in paris on 16mm and ran out of stock before our final location so i used a point and shoot 35mm camera to take over 140 photos to create a stop motion effect. watch full vid here:

when I was doing commercials I sometimes felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously as an actor, that being the face of a brand wasn’t considered cool or artistic . but when you’re in a Netflix show or an Amazon movie? babe… you’re the face of that brand… it is literally all ads.

recently, as more people have spoken about their experiences, I very quickly realized this isn’t a “me” problem. this is wayyyy bigger than me actually!!. the residual system is completely broken and it is all at the hands of the tech bros who have infiltrated Hollywood.

since 2021 I’ve booked multiple tv and film jobs but 2022 was the first year I didn’t qualify for sag health insurance since I joined. for the past year and half I’ve been on Medicaid . I’ve questioned everything and straight up? have not felt like a good version of myself.

so I fulfilled my lifelong dream of moving to New York because nothing was keeping me in la and life is short! do what you want!. by the time things started happening again in 2021 I was like alright LFG but when I actually started getting paid I was like 🧍‍♀️ooop….

it was also during a time where literally no one was working so I couldn’t immediately parlay anything into a job . but I wasn’t that worried bc I still had a good chunk of savings from commercials and I was still qualifying for sag health insurance.

the way everything played out w my videos was so cool and special and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I will merely point out that the only money I made off of them was from kind strangers venmoing me the equivalent of about one month’s rent (you guys are angels).
