It’s not your fault for not stopping Brexit. It’s not your fault for not managing to persuade your MP to keep mutual Freedom of Movement. We were subjected to weapons grade propaganda and our system has failed us. But what we do and say next counts.

No, the difference is that whilst Ukraine is the victim, having been invaded by Russia, Hamas and Palestinian civilians are the aggressors, having attacked Israeli civilians.

Mobs aren’t attacking local Jewish centers because they want to protest Israel. They are protesting Israel because they want an excuse to attack local Jewish centers.

Don’t tell me this isn’t an existential fight. The elimination of our very existence is the goal. Left wing antisemitism, and right wing antisemitism may use different language—but they are the same hatred.

When this is all over, how do we go back to living with all these people who have made their antisemitism abundantly clear? It’s not normal. None of this is normal.
