@minilek Not one of these people wanting to cancel 8th grade algebra and calculus in high school were engineering, physics, math, or computer science majors in college. None. If they were, they would know how important those core classes are. More rigorous math earlier, not less.

@minilek @owasow "Will it prepare students for college coursework in that particular field," is a terrible way to measure what is being taught in high school High school should be focused on giving as much necessary, broad-based knowledge as students can absorb
