People are misunderstanding or being extremely uncharitable with Eric's take. He isn't saying don't ask people to join DSA. He's saying even if we do, some of those people won't. But they need an org too! Lets not lose all this momentum!.
There are lots of Zohran's 50K volunteers who aren't yet ready to join DSA but who'd join a broader campaign for his core 3 planks with its own neighborhood & workplace structures . A push to join DSA is necessary but insufficient to sustain & deepen this movement.
