It's funny, I grew up rural and my elementary school has 72 kids from primary to grade 6. Grades 1 and 2 were in the same classroom, one teacher. Grades 3, 4 and 5 were in one classroom with the one teacher. Kids from my school outperformed others when we all got to highschool.
