25 years ago we lived next door to the Director of Event Operations for the SA Spurs. Don Costante was a genius; I saw for myself. He has run some of the biggest sporting events, in and out of the US. For those who aspire to that, he has written the handbook, out today at Amazon.

If nothing else, UTSA certainly has tried to bring some drama to the AAC. After FAU's Christian Adams ran through a UTSA infielder running the bases in the seventh, the Roadrunners put in a new pitcher the next frame who threw at Adams three straight times and got ejected.
