Personal update: I got a job as a Design Engineer! I stopped freelancing a couple months back to focus on coding and hackathons and it really paid off. It’s wild that I don’t just design in Figma, I ship too! There’s so much to learn, and i feel very blessed to have this

2026 goal: ship more cross platform desktop apps. So many of my tool ideas can be built using vanjs, tauri and motion lib.

I’ve built enterprise web apps, developer tools, open-source projects other devs rely on, and a full UI framework. And people still say “web developer.” Nah. That label’s too small for what we actually build.
Being a self taught software engineer has been a wild ride and I’m glad I went through every phase. I built PC games in C++, using Unity Game Engine, desktop apps in VB, terminal programs, even wired circuits with Arduino. I touched many corners of programming before choosing
