We're going into budgeting in the coming weeks, where we'll work with the NPC to improve what National offers and level up around the country in 2026. You should always let us know what you need but never lose sight of why DSA National is so important, especially not now.

As a director, I think about the member behind each dues contribution who is giving what they can to build socialism, and I work as hard as I do to make it worth it for them. All of our work since last year has put the org in a position to build a surplus and grow in 2026.

I can promise you as a former chapter leader I am always working to make National better and more effective for chapters. I see everything in my role, and I continue to give 1% of my salary back to DSA in solidarity dues because I see every day how far my dues go.

I wrote a piece this summer about how important DSA National is for members and chapters across the country and why we can't take it for granted or give up on it in times of conflict. It's an incredible thing we're building, and we need to scale it up and keep getting stronger.
