Happy to share that I’ve been selected as a CAS Future Leader 2025! Grateful for this honor and thankful to my mentor, Prof. Mark Hersam, whose support made this possible. Excited to connect with fellow scientists in this program.
Join us in congratulating the 2025 #CASFutureLeaders! We look forward to welcoming these exceptional Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars to Columbus, Ohio, and Washington, DC, this August.

A recent @NanoLetters paper from Nick (Lanzara group @BerkeleyLab and @BerkeleyPhysics) reported on the doping-induced electronic band renormalization in twisted bilayer graphene, as observed via ARPES with in-situ electrostatic gating

Looking back, I have pivoted several times during my education/training: from dabbling in astronomy in high school, majoring in physics, getting PhD in materials science, and now postdoc-ing on projects with chemistry flavor. It is always exciting to see what lies ahead!.
@CMQTnu post-doc Iqbal Utama (@mibutama) describes how molecules unlocks fundamental research into two-dimensional materials.
