I don’t blame the cyclist for not feeling safe with only those cones ‘protecting’ them. I see the cars are still flowing freely. Definitely need to replace the cones with safe, protected cycleways if we are to encourage more people to ditch the car for all those short journeys.

You can find disease on any tree if you look hard enough. Sadly this is more about budgets and risk aversion than controlling disease.
Sad to see such large trees being felled at the entrance to Longford Park in the middle of the nesting season @TraffordCouncil @OneTrafford. I realise they are diseased, but they are/were full of active nests in an area with lots of birds... 😯😭 🕊️🐦🦅🦉 @LongfordSarah1
