Awesome thread on simple approaches to changing your mindset when applying a community approach to developer experience/marketing.
The metrics-focused nature of marketing, when applied to relationship building of community teams, often falls flat. At the same time, marketing might rightly say it's hard to connect hugs and happiness to growth. Yet, I think Community and Marketing teams can be friends:

Awesome thread from the @apievangelist Currently working with a client on API governance processes and so many of these ring true. We are supporting light touch processes so teams are not burdened by bureaucracy, stds automation & separation between legacy & new API processes.

Im sorry for those attending or organising @CircuitFestBCN but this year should be cancelled because of #monkeypox This week there are 7 people in hospital because of symptoms and over 800 diagnosed so far in BCN. Vaccines unavailable, high transmission through close contact.
