There is part of me that wonders how much of the current drive for these tools is about papering over the massive surface area that we expect any one developer to know now. Tedium alone doesn't explain it.

I once turned a day-long build into 10 minutes by learning cross-compilation. Same energy is happening with AI tools. @chipro tracked AI interruptions (24.5%), found patterns, fixed her codebase structure. Intervention rates are the new build times 📊

I've used @continuedev since the beginning and I've always had a config with @ollama running an open model. At some point I added @Tailscale to the mix and it was even better. That pandemic GPU comes in handy.
