This week, together with @FGCZ_EN we had a fantastic learning experience at @BrukerMassSpec. We received tailored timsTOFfleX training from the experts, so many questions got answered and so many new ideas got inspired! #MALDI #Imaging

Nnaopores can discriminate the 20 proteinogenic amino acids! That is good progress! A next step is extending this discrimination to complex mixtures containing other small molecules, e.g., metabolites.

I'm very much looking forward to sharing our work in #MALDIimaging from @BodenmillerLab and @FGCZ_EN

Antibody validation is essential. Yet, it's not always performed. Authors claim that they cannot validate their 'high plex' assays for ~ 100 epitopes... and journals seem to acquiesce. We can do better. We must do better if we seek the truth.

Ammonium fluoride (NH4F) as a comatrix additive to enhance lipid detection in MALDI-MSI, with a signal increase of up to 200%. Not bad @kadzuis, isn't it?
