Very bullish - in 6 months we’ve gone from “no one uses the blockchains, there are no good apps” to “there is so much concurrent on chain usage that many things are buggy right now.”

1) crypto investors are generally the first capital into protocols, providing risk capital and development support, in many cases for years, before a token exists
2) post-tge, team and vc's typically are locked far longer than…
it's kinda wild that we just accept token distributions that give 25% of the entire supply to VCs so that they can dump on you

Memes have existed since the beginning of humanity
Memecoins are here to stay.
Interest in memecoins will come and go, and I'm optimistic that real products/protocols will develop in the end.
But we shouldn't pretend that the casino doesn't set us back. Deterring great founders and giving ammo to politicized regulators has a profound effect.

It’s actually remarkable that it’s *only* as buggy as it is given the product is being built on a blockchain a few months old, tens of thousands of people are using the product and it has to interact with a bunch of external services to function.

It's simply one thing people do onchain.
And it's a large number of the *current* on chain users.
Someone partaking in memecoins doesn't prevent them or others from partaking in other blockchain use case (DePin, DeFi, gaming, social, payments, etc.)

Agree.
As a life long Democrat who became an Independent last year, it has been very depressing to watch the decline of the Party, especially as the Republican party also descends into chaos.
Democrats have had absolutely every opportunity to be the big tent party and they’ve thrown it away in spectacular fashion. Incredible, truly.

Some (many) apps are throwing in the towel on improvements after getting an mvp out there, others are doing pure, lazy copy paste. But I’m seeing some do truly novel things while navigating around roadblocks and setbacks. Short term vs long term games.
