The PM @JustinTrudeau just made a compelling case: By imposing tariffs on goods from Canada, the US administration is hurting the Americans. Then, hints at counter-tariffs on US goods. By logical analogy, wouldn't this move, of imposing counter-tariffs, hurt Canadians?.

Not the philosophy, but the act of philosophizing sounds familiar! As junior scholars, I see assistant professors (including myself) almost always trying to construct their identity narrative ex-post, in connecting the dots (read pubs) they created!.

Front end digital technologies creating (purposefully or unintentionally) an illusion of fully digital value chain! Just a couple of days back Umar (@Informatician) and I were talking about this phenomenon based on our observations elsewhere! Amazon checkout is a catchy example:.

It took me and my 13 yo, 30 mins to set this (very simple analog) clock up! If it was a digital watch (wearable) it would have taken us 5 mins (or less)! Simple tech (with user manual) is getting much harder to work with, while complex tech is becoming extremely straightforward!

Great thinking @susleec! This is huge: "[He] brought a wealth of expertise to the subject matter," while "[she] brought a unique and dynamic perspective!". We need some serious work in making our algorithms smarter, that pick up the prevailing biases, and do better! But how?.

A super interesting study by Max, Tomi, and Kasper! Congratulations on getting this out. It pushes the boundaries of expertise research in management and organization studies.
Management researchers agree that expertise is key to the challenges of today's organizations. But they disagree on what expertise – actually – is. In this @AOMConnect paper Tomi, Kasper and I try to clarify and advance this debate.
