We need more privacy-by-design. Proud of our team for contributing ideas like this to bitcoin, and excited to adopt it to make Bitkey balances and transactions private for our customers!

I’m so proud of our team. This BIP proposal is a huge privacy upgrade for multisig! 🧡 Even when sharing a key, you can now keep your wallet balance and transactions private. Bitkey implementation coming soon. Your wallet should be private — even from us.

Hardware wallets are not enough. They solve secure signing—but then hand you a seed phrase, making you figure out security, recovery, and inheritance on your own. Self-custody requires more than signing. That’s why we built Bitkey. https://t.co/hCvmPygUqC

All wallets can be hit by supply chain attacks & all need software & internet to use bitcoin. Open source apps like Bitkey can be checked fast to see if they're hit. Even if you use other hardware if there's an attack you need to check companion apps like Sparrow are still safe!

10 years from now Proto Rig will still be running. The hashboards will have changed. The firmware will have changed. The world around Bitcoin will have changed. The mission? Still the same. ⛏️ Less waste. Less downtime. More Bitcoin. https://t.co/TdjGV7yEzI

The Proto miner hardware seems like a real step-change for ASICs. The reusable rig is amazing, now just swap out hashboards. The modularity and openness (software and hardware) will allow everyone to do a lot more with them, and for a lot longer.

In recent months, @jesseposner and I have been developing an idea where collaborative custodians sign transactions via scalar tweaks, so they never have to hold an XPUB and limit what they learn about your wallet. It’s called Chain Code Delegation:

What does it mean to not have a seed phrase? Is it keyless? No—you’re still in control of private keys. Seed phrases are just one way to store them. Is it custodial? No—you hold 2-of-3 multisig keys. No one can move funds without you. Is it vendor lock-in? No—you can exit
