This is an outrageous money grab to exploit boaters in a city that should be encouraging use of its waterfront. A proposal would have small boats paying $20+/hr to dock. Would you pay $100 to park your car in the Flats for a night? @FlatsForward

Looks like construction has begun on the hideous 150ft tall Tony George-owned billboard in the Flats. All sorts of variances were granted for this behemoth; 1 of 3 to replace the one atop his dilapidated building near Irishtown Bend. Not good for residents!

Who else thinks this is a huge waste of money and major traffic disruptor? Funneling a major thoroughfare through intersections? And the road isn’t the only issue; the railroad tracks will still be there! Similar to the $$ 35mph “boulevard” lined w/ dead trees at Edgewater.

Maybe these Cleveland Police resources spent giving parking tickets to boaters would be better spent enforcing traffic laws (speed, red lights, stop signs) downtown, given many drivers blatantly ignore them.
