Isnt "ephemera" a truly inspired weasel word to use here? Im no creative but I am at my most clever when worming out of responsibility. The point of deleting tweets isnt temporality; it's deniability. By deleting my worst takes I make them _apocryphal_.

Ok, the first time I deleted everything was because people kept dunking on my old cocaine fiending tweets. Then, periodically, Ive deleted everything whenever my ragebait incited a swarm. But lately Ive been deleting SELECT tweets so bullies cant use them to show my hypocrisies

Nick Confessore made me a pundit in 2003 when he hired me for The American Prospect. If zoomer aspiring pundits want to be like me they should post psychotic warmongering takes and also make sure they attended the same expensive private school as the editor they hope hires them.
I feel like Yglesias had pundit status by time he was blogging at Atlantic in 2007, age 26. Zoomers today are ages 13-28. So where are the liberal zoomer pundits today? Or have liberals/Dems just decided to skip Gen Z and not promote them?.

I will follow my pattern with Iraq. Im at the blame both left and right stage now. In a few months I will post An Apology, which all my media friends will applaud and call courageous while calling my critics vindictive. Time will pass and Ill pretend Id been right all along.
