Im Jänner soll das IFG im Parlament beschlossen werden. Wir hoffen, dass im letzten Moment noch einige Schwachstellen repariert werden – es soll noch ein Expertenhearing geben – um mögliche Hintertüren zu schließen. Unsere letzte Stellungnahme:

Kaum zu glauben: es scheint eine 2/3-Mehrheit für das Informationsfreiheitsgesetz zu geben. Die SPÖ hat einige wichtige Nachbesserungen erreicht – einige Verschlechterungen im Regierungsentwurf zum Entwurf 2021 sind wieder raus.
Zum ersten Mal seit zehn Jahren gibt es das politische Comittment einer Verfassungsmehrheit, ein Informationsfreiheitsgesetz zu beschlieĂźen. Gut, dass @jleichtfried unsere Kritik aufgenommen und Verbesserungen beim Schutz von journalistischen Recherchen erreicht hat! 1/.
