Campaigning off Trump works for Liberals. It’s not about what’s good for the Country. It’s what wins votes. Canadians clearly fall for it.

I am still having trouble processing why any of this is controversial. Yes, Trump is bad. But other countries have found ways to deal with him. Canada alone has decided to pout and stomp it’s feet which is bizarre because we have so much more to lose than any other country.

Canada would have less US trade trouble if it would do this simple thing. Open the Canadian market equally for all goods and services that Canadian companies are allowed to participate in the US market - Telecom - Insurance - Banking - Agricultural products (including milk)

My only answer to why this is so controversial is the LPC and a wide swath of Canadian media influenced either consciously or unconsciously by its spin doctors have made it seem controversial, and this is a sort of ‘cognitive conditioning’ that is dominant across the highest

Watching pundits like these spend airtime devoted to calling out the guy who’s not PM, is clear evidence their job is to keep the Liberals clean between elections. I’ve never heard more than the extremely rare, but mild criticism of Carney, and Trudeau before him.

CBC is melting down. A Liberal podcaster & Toronto Star columnist said: “[Pierre] seems to be more focused on the Twitter influencers than he is on the constituents they hear about at the door." Why do you think the media is suddenly threatened by “influencers” that they need

It appears that many people in the media (and on social media) think that politicians are supposed to look at data like this, see what's allegedly popular, and then decide what position to take. Sorry, but trend hopping is not what I promised my community when I decided to run

@Miss_MellyM @mdt546 Exactly. The conservatives are on point and talking about the most popular issues. But then, Trump opens his mouth & everything goes out the window. People then get distracted again and let their emotions take over, leaving them unable to think clearly and make a rational choice.
