Today. Is. THE. Day. One year ago today, Bill C-291 received Royal Assent. Today, the term “child pornography” is officially removed from Canadian legal legislation and replaced with “child sexual abuse and exploitation material.” With @MelArnoldMP, I’m very proud. Watch👇🏼

The federal government currently pays more in interest in servicing 🇨🇦’s debt than it does for healthcare. Half the people in my riding lack a family doctor. Health care is in disrepair, including on the federal level, so let’s not pretend we have a properly functioning system.

This is an untenable situation. I have a meeting this afternoon to seek clarity on the current situation. I hope the concerns of all doctors impacted can be addressed in a timely manner.
UPDATE: Waiting now for a response from the obstetrician gynecologists in Kamloops who sent this letter to @Interior_Health Tuesday morning (October 14th).
