I'm sure you've all been wondering: what is worse than slicing through the power cable of the hedge trimmer you borrowed from your friend? . Turns out it's doing it once, buying them a new trimmer, finishing another 1/4 of the hedge and then immediately doing it again 👹

We’ve just launched @incident_io On-call and I couldn’t be more excited! 🎉. Our goal was “so good, you’ll break things on purpose” and we’ve poured our hearts and souls into this one. I think it shows ❤️

If you're holding yourselves accountable to high standards of pace, you won't have those classic "nothing to report" stand-ups because that's not a good enough answer. Development isn't a solo sport. Use stand-up to pool your resources and move faster as a team.

All the replies saying motivated teams don't need stand-ups isn't the hot take they think it is. If you're a team working at pace, stand-up is essential .- What is the no. 1 thing to do that day.- What is slowing you down .- How can you be flexible as a team to get there.
Too many meetings!. I have no issues with daily stand-ups. They’re good for updates, unblocking work and staying in sync. But there’re so many pointless and draining meetings. Most of them are a waste of valuable resources that could be spent elsewhere. How can this be

I found working out whether a particular org was right for me so tricky, particularly with little experience in interviewing at the time. It felt super important to get it right, but knowing what to look out for wasn't obvious. Added some tips that I'd tell my former self 🌞.

Took the clarity of daytime to realise that the reason city mapper was suggesting all my routes home took either 0 minutes or 85 was a sweet daylight savings bug ✌️ happens to the best of us.
