This is a good step towards improving education in Oregon.
The research is clear: cell phone use can create a trifecta of consequences for our young people – mental health issues, safety in school, and distraction from learning. I signed this order to stand up for the promise of every student in every corner of the state.

Friday Night Lights are tough to beat! Enjoy the ride with your brothers.
Every year we tell our guys there's nothing like high school football, and that college football is a job. Every year they don't listen and look ahead. And the next year when they come back, they say, "coach you were so right." Enjoy high school football while you can.
