Indeed, there needs to be a realistic look at staffing ratios across the board. For decades, in the UK, we have had one of the lowest numbers of doctors per headcount of the population. Healthcare is not just about modern hospitals and technology. It's about people.
Every nurse and midwife deserves the guarantee of a job to apply for when they graduate. That’s why thousands of new roles are being created to ensure our newest graduates can smoothly enter the workforce ⬇️.

Sick of being called ‘greedy’,.Brown line is consultants, way below the zero line, the blue line is average workers, back above zero. Average pay has climbed at about equal rates over last 3 years but consultant pay still nearly 20% down graph (CPI). There’s full tax restoration,
