If you're interested in manufacturing, here's my take on the Vision Pro production video. 1. First we see extruded Aluminum forms that will be machined into the frame. The two right angle edges will become fixings to aid manufacture and accuracy.

What I wish quest 3 was: Black glass front with the sensors under it , coupled with a simple LED array that conveys when you're using pass-through and gives users some customisable elements.

Something I want to see in the XR hardware space. Split hardware, where you can upgrade the processor separate from the displays / sensors similar to PC. Reducing the headset size and allowing you to swap out batteries. Also enables you to connect the headset part to a PC.

@michalkosinski While this is indeed interesting and should be addressed by the AI community, the way you have gone about it is misleading and leveraging people’s worry regarding this technology. It’s unethical and disappointing, we should all do better.

@ianzelbo I think this is the minimum tech stack that represents the experience they are after for a consumer device. it'll get smaller and more compact as time goes on. Its definitely not aimed at the current XR / VR market customers ( which ofcourse makes us sad) and instead is aiming at.
