We handed over the cycles sponsored by @SoftwareAG to the guards deployed at kaikondrahalli, sowl kere and kasavanahalli lakes. The cycles help them commute to the lake everyday as well as in doing the rounds as all 3 lakes have ~2km pathway.

We have requested BWSSB and BBMP lakes dept to collaborate and execute the much delayed Kaikondrahalli diversion drain and BWSSB UGD project together. Hopefully execution of this project will remove sewage from the entire lake chain of Kasavanahalli, Kaikondrahalli lake...

New Buffer zone violations around Kaikondrahalli and Sowl kere were noted. Joint commissioner and AEE have promised a comprehensive inspection of all buffer zone in both lakes and issuing notices to violators.

Visit to kaikondrahalli lake by CE BBMP Lakes yesterday. The lakes contractor has initiated temporary clean up measures. Lakes CE has assured that the new UGD project will be executed on a top priority basis at @kaikhallilake.
