I've always found saying yes leads to far more interesting things than saying no. Be curious; your yes, even framed with your limits, can be a catalyzer to world changing ideas

Really important to depoliticize infrastructure decisions in an election year so moving a motion to delegate funding decisions to the senior staff according to already agreed + Council approved infrastructure plans.

As well, in the spirit of continuity, CEOs Ron Larkin ( group picture) 2004-2008, and a beautiful letter from Jo-Anne Poirier 2009-2013 (picture) demonstrate long standing commitment to OCH

Agreed. And it needs to be both deliberative and guided by what citizens - not just planners or politicians - want, leading to a collective vision for the city's future that is then respected by City Hall.

Most cities need a much better conversation about the constant, creative process of city-making. It needs to be an engaging, fascinating conversation that citizens WANT to be a part of. That SHOULD be easy, because cities are inherently fascinating! #dontbeboring
