I'm not sure there's anything to add to this: it's taking money from the people and the US Administration to basically put in his own pocket... Is there some kind of context I am missing?👍🤔 https://t.co/InLLNk9Ntd

These two both are card games. The one is a crunchy heavy euro, with only 15 actions in the whole game, with technologies, aliens, settling planets and all that jazz. The latter, is a light silly awesome decbuilder about being a struggling artist in Paris. Both are excellent!

This. 👇👇👇 I'll add my two cents. D&D hasn’t felt like D&D since the TSR days. WotC owns the IP and can steer it wherever they want—catering to their chosen fanbase, just like any game company. That’s their call. But I’m not obligated to follow. My time, energy, and money can
@CantripCandles There are thousands of games out there with each selling a particular flavor. All of these games are derived from D&D. WOTC has no sense of what D&D is anymore. They've lost the thread. Play what and how you want.

@SandyofCthulhu The first time I ever heard the word "Cthulhu" was in reference to your game. 🍻

The point she was making was right - where would you point to great 'sci-fi' shows today? Stranger Things, Alien: Earth, capes Star Wars derivatives, The Boys, and Gen V? Some great shows, but not much exploration of boundaries going on...? 🤔 For All Mankind, maybe?
@elvenmaidinn (a) You forgot Seaquest DSV (b) several of the shows that you named were 2000s, not 90s (c) TNG and Voyager never ran together. TNG ended in '94 and Voyager started in '95.

Loved this. And deffo agree re. the broad brush that encompassed "sci-fi tv' - we were very spoilt for choice back then... 🥳
The '90s were sci-fi TV's golden age, a time when Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager ran together, each offering unique takes on exploration, war, and survival. Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis blended military grit with alien mysteries, while Babylon 5 wove

The Hobbit from Office Dog is a competitive adventure. You roll and select dice to chart paths in your adventure books, marking progress with dry-erase pens. The game offers solo play and adjustable difficulty for different challenges and skill levels. Also in Hungarian.

Probably the biggest frustration I have with board game reviews is most of them don't get into depth about the game anymore. They play the game about 2 or 3 times, do a "review" and move onto the next. A somewhat understandable approach considering the thousands of games

When Universal asked DREW STRUZAN to design a poster for The Thing at the last minute and with barely any description of the film, he delivered this in 24 hours. The paint was still wet. #RIP

Real leaders don’t beg for praise or medals. They just do the damn job. President @JoeBiden worked tirelessly for months, got a ceasefire and quietly freed 140 hostages. Donald Trump let Netanyahu shatter that peace, freed 28 — then repackaged Biden’s peace plan as his own and

BREAKING: In his latest impersonation of a petty mobster, Trump threatens to take away the World Cup games from Boston, and even the Olympics from Los Angeles, to whomever doesn't bend the knee to him. Shameful vindictiveness. https://t.co/x9DN7B3WIv

I have a new game coming out with @OspreyGames It's called Threaded and will be on view in a preview box at Essen Spiel. Osprey have done a fabulous job on the production and Maria Surdican's art is so beautiful. I'm excited that it's going to land in 2026.

I'm making a lot of religious themed games at the moment. Themes ranging from the Old Testament to the life of Christ to the Reformation. A tricky thing to handle is agency. Players need to have control over something. Which means they need to have the option of NOT doing what
