2 yrs ago i was working at a grocery store, not writing, no friends, no bf. now i work for the best movie theater in seattle, write all the time, have a loving bf, & i have many friends in real life & online. in a rare moment of sincerity i just wanna say how happy i am about it

i think the only reason i've been published in mags w "clout" is because i didnt ever see them that way. i read alt lit for like 6 years & only recently started sending stuff to places i liked on a whim. i just assumed i'd never get in & didn't really care. i was there to read

i hope i keep blogging forever. a lot of people stop blogging when they start publishing, which i understand, but the blog is the only reason i've published anything. all my story ideas stem from observations/fragments that i wrote on there. plus i like it. i'm proud of my blog.
